Harriman State Park

On March 19, I went to Harriman again, same area, different trail. The group was smaller this time, only eight people. The weather was still a bit cold, but I'm glad I left my jacket in the car, a hoodie was enough. Once we started hiking, we warmed up pretty fast and I had to take it off at some point.

Clear blue sky, a bit cool, but hiking helps stay warm
Is it a hawk? Or a vulture? ... An alien?
Looks like an American eagle to me!
Admiring the view
I'm having a great time!
Other hikers left a marker so we know we're still following the trail
The whole crew
Going up!
Stream
Crossing the bridge
Looks like a woodpecker has been here!

You can see more pictures of this hike on this meetup event page.
